  • Best flat white I’ve had maybe ever! Breakfast bagel was delicious, well balanced, and generously portioned. Millionaire brownie felt incredibly indulgent and I regret nothing! Not too sweet, full of flavor and great texture/mouthfeel! There was no queue when I arrived (how?!), and the service was welcoming, friendly, and fast! I might live here now.

  • Had breakfast in here and loved it. The coffee is absolutely outstanding - they have oat milk - and the mocha was done with real chocolate, super delicious. We also tried the breakfast bap and it was unreal, the tomato sauce on it is a nice touch. They have options of gluten free sweets, but no gluten free sandwiches. For sweet tries the lemon and coconut blondie and it was really good. Highly recommend and would defo come back!

  • Really great tasting coffee and cakes accompanied with excellent customer service. We popped in on a late afternoon on a Saturday, disappointed that everywhere seemed to shut at 4pm, grain and grind was open til half 5 on this day which we were very pleased with. We both had lattes and the brownies which were so tasty and fudgey, and a good portion! A lovely atmosphere in here as well as being dog friendly :)

  • When it comes to coffee shops, this is definitely our local. Hands down one of the best coffee places in Inverness. Grain & Grind is our absolute go‑to: amazing coffee, beautiful latte art, and the friendliest staff who always make you feel welcome and never in the way. It’s also incredibly dog‑friendly. Our boy Carlos loved it and adored the staff, he was always very happily spoiled here! Whenever family visit from out of town, it’s a non‑negotiable stop, and my husband is fully addicted to the dirty chai and the salted caramel iced latte. It genuinely feels like a proper community hub, not just a café. Couldn’t recommend it more!

  • Absolutely wonderful little cafe! Properly brewed delicious coffee (which smells amazing the second you enter) and thick slices of cake to top it off - perfection! Our little dogs were very warmly greeted and loved on by the exceptionally friendly staff. We all felt really welcomed and comfortable. Exactly what we were needing to warm up after a cold wintry walk

  • This is a great coffee spot. Pound for pound one of the best in Inverness. Gavin, Sarah, Joanna and co always greet and serve with impeccable hospitality, and banging brews. The coffee is always delicious, as are the cakes and bakes. They also sell fantastic bags of coffee and high quality coffee bags for brewing which help brighten my days when camping ans travelling. They also save food waste via the Too Good To Go app, and their surprise bags for this are out of this world. When I was in recently, I experienced service that went above ans beyond from a lass called Ellen. She really brightened my day and it was greatly appreciated! This place is a must for coffee lovers, great quality and setting without pretence. Highly recommended! Cheers to the team!

  • Lovely coffee shop in Inverness! Nice space inside, great choice for cakes and coffee. I got an americano ( on the stronger side but really nice flavour). Also picked up some of their brew bags which I’m excited to try!
